We take lighting seriously. Since we are riders as well, we truly believe in delivering a high quality product that outperforms the competition. Imagine the lights on your motorcycle being extremely brighter, lasting longer, and using lesser wattage than your traditional factory bulbs. LEDs and HIDs (High Intensity Discharge) lighting are the same technology being used in the new luxury vehicles, except it is now available for your motorcycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have Plug N Play kits for other motorcycles?
Yes, we do. We would simply need to know your bulb type, and if your motorcycle is a single or dual beam system. For example, the bulb type would be referenced as H7 or H4. If you don't know, you can contact us for further assistance via email or phone. We look forward to hearing from you!

Do not be fooled by overrated "lifetime" warranties from other manufacturers and distributors. The warranty is only as good as what the company actually replaces. You can be assured that you will get fast and friendly service should you ever have any problems. All products carry a 1 year warranty from date of purchase. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase as we cannot accept any claims without the original receipt.
Warranty coverage is within the United States only, not international. This warranty is non-transferable and is only applicable to the original purchaser. If you suspect that there is a problem with your item, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help troubleshoot the problem. Often times, for example, it's something as simple as unsecured cables coming loose. We can help determine the problem and send you the replacement part(s) if necessary. Shipping part(s) back to us is the responsibility of the customer and a flat rate fee is required for shipping you the replacement part(s). The right of final interpretation resides with SoCalMotoGear.com. Warranty covered extends to the maximum value of the product purchase price itself. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the Product purchased. Under no circumstances will we reimburse for labor, shop rates, travel or any down time caused by the product. 30 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE:
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase as we cannot accept any claims without the original receipt. If for any reason, you wish to return an item within 30 days of the original purchase date, we will gladly accept back any product that is new, unused, salable condition.
Guarantee is only valid for the original purchaser. If item/product is sold or given to a third party, 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee will be voided. Under no circumstances will we reimburse for labor, shop rates, travel or any down time caused by the product. If a warranty request is necessary, the "ship to" address MUST be to a United States address, no exceptions. At our discretion, a 25% restocking fee may be imposed for any returns that we receive looks damaged or used and deemed unsalable. Please contact us for further details.

Requesting a warranty claim does not guarantee warranty repair or replacement. SoCalMotoGear will issue an RMA number and shipping information for validated claims. In no event will SoCalMotoGear accept any shipment that is sent C.O.D.

Warranty Parts/Shipping
Warranty coverage is within the United States only, not international and will only be shipped to a U.S. address
. Standard shipping for warranty parts (in-stock items) are typically shipped within 1-2 business days. Delivery time may vary depending on your location. Under no circumstances will SoCalMotoGear express or overnight warrantied or non-warrantied part(s) for any reason. In some circumstances we may accept customer payment to overnight certain parts based on stock availability. This is not a guaranteed service and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Non-returnable and Non-refundable Items
  • Items that are damaged or abused
  • Opened DVD or CDs cannot be returned for a refund or exchange.
  • Labor, delivery and/or completed SoCalMotoGear™ installation services.
  • Non-defective special order item(s).
  • Caps / Hats.
  • Shipping charges.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

We ship International via USPS Priority/UPS. To get an accurate quote please add the product to the shopping basket and enter your address as if you were checking out. The system will give you the shipping charges.

INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY:
Warranty outside of the U.S.
If you have a problem and the item was not purchased directly from our website but rather thru an authorized dealer, please contact the dealer that sold you the product. If you purchased directly from our website, than you would email our service department. For warranties outside of the US, customer pays for shipping both ways.


Limitation of Liability

By installing/purchasing/using our product(s), You the customer agree that our liability to you or any other third party in any circumstances relating to the use of our site, service and/or product(s) provided by SoCalMotoGear/ SoCalMotoGear.com/ GoldWingHIDs/ GoldWingLEDs/ PATHFINDERLED/ TRUHIDS on the site and the company or its dealers is limited to the maximum amount of the product purchased price. Furthermore, we shall have no liability whatsoever for special or consequential damages, such as shop labor rates, and or lost profits, lost sales or any other incidental damages, regardless of whether your claim arises in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, acts of god/nature or under any other legal theory (and regardless of whether your claim arises by way of statue or otherwise).

Do you accept phone orders?
For security reasons, we do not accept phone orders.To efficiently process and streamline the ordering process and to keep your data and credit card information safe, orders must be placed online. All orders are processed online to further enhance security, we never see your credit card information as it is encrypted thru Authorize.net which is a secured gateway credit card processing company. If you use Paypal, then Paypal is the secured processor.

Installation Tips:

Where do I mount the ballasts?
With our ballasts, they can be mounted virtually anywhere. They are weatherproof and there are so many places where you can mount them on your motorcycle. It can be on the side or underneath the fairing or pockets of your bike. On some motorcycles like the Honda GL1500, once you remove your head lights, you can place them right underneath the head light housing.


Honda GL1500 installation (3-Prong Male Plug):
After removing your headlight and replacing your stock bulbs with the new HID bulbs, locate the 3-Prong Female Plug from your motorcycle. (This is the same connector that you just disconnected your stock bulbs from.) If you are looking at a 4-Prong Female Plug, then you are looking at the wrong plug.
You will now need to connect the Male 3-Prong Plug from the supplied Bi-Xenon wiring cable to your motorcycle's 3-Prong Female Plug.

Our SHIPPING/ORDERS PROCESSING WAREHOUSE is located in Los Angeles County. Sales Tax in Los Angeles County is 9.75%. If you are in the state of CA, 9.75% sales tax will be collected during checkout. Just as if you were to go to a local store, you would pay the local sales tax in that area. We are required to collect sales tax and pay it to the State of CA. Thank you for your patronage.
